Alfred is a student in the School of Engineering and Applied Science and is interested in mechanical engineering and English. Originally from Philadelphia, he is drawn to the intersection of technical problem solving and design thinking. He aims to use his mechanical engineering degree to get involved with product development and design in hopes of creating cool products that are both sustainable and affordable.
He is also involved with the Promoting Enriching Experiences and Relationships (PEER) mentorship program and also underwater robotics research. In his free time, Alfred enjoys playing badminton, dancing, and engaging with diverse communities, where he finds inspiration in different perspectives and conversations.
