Julia is thrilled to join the Fellows Class of 2029. Born and raised around Washington, D.C., Julia credits her aspirations to the arts and culture institutions there: the Smithsonian Institutions, National Cathedral, and Kennedy Center. At Wharton, she is passionate about the intersection of business, economics, public policy, fine arts, and design. How do you price creativity – connection – culture? How can economic and legal frameworks safeguard these precious things? She explores these questions through nationally recognized artwork and cultural leadership.
At Penn, Julia is artistically involved with The Daily Pennsylvanian, Wharton Women, and Signal Society. She explores economic sustainability and policy through GRC, SIC, and Consult for America, and is grateful to have broadened her worldview through the Wharton Industry Exploration Program, Penn Global Seminars, and GRIP. Julia believes that SNF Paideia bridges all of the above. She hopes to apply her Fellowship towards sponsoring arts access, education, and engagement, highlighting the connective power of creative expression.
In her own time, Julia enjoys long runs, journaling, and reviewing literature and film. Her favorite activity, however, is a good conversation! She is always open to grabbing a bite with someone new.
