Undergraduate Fellow, Class of 2029

Noah Beltran

Noah is a student in the College of Arts & Sciences with a passion for learning about the
intersection between human behavior and social systems. During his senior year of high school,
Noah interned with the education nonprofit CORE Districts, learning about their mission to
improve public school education through innovative practices in the classroom and within district
leadership teams. His interest in educational equity was sparked by the idea that transforming
an educational system starts with prioritizing intentional, inclusive dialogue.

As an SNF Paideia Fellow, Noah is excited to speak with others about their lived experiences
and perspectives, and to learn about thoughtful communication by engaging with students and
faculty across all of Penn’s undergraduate schools. He’s looking forward to growing as a
listener, community member, and citizen through collaborative, service-oriented learning.

On a nice day, you can find Noah studying in an outdoor space on campus, playing soccer at
Penn Park, or enjoying conversations with peers. Growing up in Oakland, California, Noah’s
activities included leadership in his high school’s event planning committee, which shaped his
passion to create inclusive, community-building experiences. As a member of his school’s
environmental activism club, he also enjoyed discussing the intersection between climate action
and community wellness, and learning about the role of dialogue in shaping community
solutions. His love of sports and exercise balances his individual wellness with his aspirations to
make a difference.
