Undergraduate Fellow, Class of 2029

Riham Darsalim

Riham is a first-year Nursing student with developing interests in history and global issues. She is particularly drawn to understanding how conflict and struggles of displacement affect and shape societies, and how historical narratives have influenced the way these events are remembered. Riham was raised in a Muslim and Palestinian household, an upbringing that has influenced her perspective on global issues related to human rights, and her interest in engaging with these topics more deeply.

As she continues her academic journey, she hopes to explore these questions further through her studies and related activities.

As an SNF Paideia Fellow, Riham hopes to strengthen her ability to engage in thoughtful and empathetic dialogue, especially around difficult topics. She is eager to develop these skills to navigate all conversations openly and carefully, and to better understand perspectives that differ from her own.
