Alvin Luong is a graduate student (MFA ’25) at the Weitzman School of Design in the Master of Fine Arts program. Luong researches the Vietnamese refugee crisis that followed the end of the America-Vietnam War and articulates this research through films, photographs, and sculptures.
He joined the SNF Paideia Program as a Graduate Fellow after encountering the curious spirit and critical curiosity shared by Undergraduate Fellows of the Program. Luong seeks to contribute to the Program by providing mentorship and assistance to the Undergraduate Fellows as they develop purposeful connections to society and the construction of their sense of self and morality.
