Jameson Russell is a freshman from Westport, Connecticut studying Philosophy, Politics & Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences with potential certificates and minors in Chinese Language and Legal Studies. His passion for civil civic dialogue developed from a lifetime of exposure to domestic politics and international relations. Fostered through experiences as an immigration and family law intern, as well as participation in Model United Nations, Jameson’s passion for conversation culminated in his work for the Common Ground Initiative — a Westport Library initiative designed to foster greater decorum in public discourse.
As part of the SNF Paideia Program’s Class of 2028 cohort, Jameson looks forward to building meaningfully on past experience and developing into a more respectful, efficient, and productive communicator.
At Penn, Jameson also edits for the Penn Undergraduate Law Journal and is an active member of Intercol, Penn’s competitive inter-collegiate Model UN team. On a more personal note, Jameson is an avid hockey, baseball, Formula 1, and golf fan, and loves the outdoors, spending his summers biking, golfing, and swimming.
