Jean-Paul Cauvin

Dr. Cauvin holds a Ph.D. in the history of philosophy from Emory University. His primary teaching interests are in the history of the rhetorical tradition, the history of political philosophy, and the history and philosophy of science. His current research addresses the history and philosophy of mathematics in twentieth century France. A Lecturer in the Critical Writing Program since 2017, Dr. Cauvin has taught courses on the Philosophy of Madness and Delusion, Theories of Anxiety, Comparative Philosophy, the Phenomenology of the Internet, and the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence.
