Keimahney Carlisle

Fellows Program Coordinator

Keimahney Carlisle is the Fellows Program Coordinator for the SNF Paideia Program, where she supports student engagement, program operations, and event logistics across the Fellows Program, Political Empathy Lab, and the Penn Commonwealth-Engaged Scholars (PCES) initiative. Her role blends behind-the-scenes infrastructure with direct engagement—supporting relationship-centered systems, stewarding key processes, and helping shape student-facing experiences. She works across teams to coordinate logistics, maintain thoughtful workflows, and contribute to the planning and evolution of student-centered programs.

Originally from Bakersfield, California, Keimahney earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Multicultural Leadership Studies from Cal Poly Pomona. Her background in business, writing, and student affairs has shaped her interdisciplinary approach to program coordination, process-building, and community engagement. As an undergraduate, she worked in residential life and campus programming, where she first cultivated a commitment to equity, dialogue, and inclusive community-building—foundations that continue to guide her work in higher education administration. Prior to joining Penn, she served with City Year Philadelphia through AmeriCorps, supporting student success in under-resourced schools.

Deeply invested in the intersections of equity, education, and language, Keimahney brings a thoughtful, human-centered lens to administration. In 2024–2025, she was a Poetry Lab Fellow, a year-long creative fellowship that deepened her engagement with storytelling, collaborative writing, and reflection. Outside of her administrative role, she explores how creative expression and systems-thinking can help reimagine institutional life and build spaces—both physical and digital—where care, clarity, and collective growth are possible.
