Sara Alsheddi

Finance and Operations

Sara is a student at the Wharton School where she plans to concentrate in Finance and Operations. Raised in Saudi Arabia, she developed a deep appreciation for the role that global perspective plays in shaping economic development. She is especially drawn to the intersection of finance, entrepreneurship, and social innovation.

In high school, Sara immersed herself in scientific research and developed a sustainable water disinfection system that earned a gold medal with distinction at the 49th Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva. She also represented her school at The Hague International Model United Nations at the World Forum, where she engaged in cross-cultural dialogue and policy debate. These experiences strengthened her interest in international collaboration and reinforced her belief in the power of bold, well-informed ideas to lead change across borders.

Sara is most energized in spaces that blend different disciplines and cultural perspectives. She’s always looking for ways to expand her understanding—whether through travel, collaborative research, or conversation. As an SNF Paideia Fellow, Sara looks forward to joining a community of thoughtful individuals committed to creating knowledge and contributing to conversations that shape a more connected world.
