Do you find it hard to talk about tough topics without things getting tense? Wish you had tools to make those conversations more constructive? Join us on Tuesday, September 16, from 4-6 pm at the Walnut Street West Library (201 S 40th St, Philadelphia) for an interactive workshop to practice how you can navigate differences with clarity, empathy, and confidence.
Join UR Action facilitators Michelle Wecksler and Tiffany Quivers as they introduce the ABCs of Constructive Conversation, a simple yet powerful framework that you’ll use to explore your fellow community members’ perspectives on issues. Come sharpen your skills, challenge your assumptions, and leave with practical strategies for making hard conversations more meaningful, and more human.
This event is part of the series Strengthening Collaboration Skills and Advancing Community Engagement in West Philadelphia, four two-hour interactive workshops that will strengthen your collaboration skills and advance community engagement in West Philadelphia.
Food and refreshments will be provided at each workshop!
This event is a collaboration between UR Action and the Free Library, with support from the SNF Paideia Program.
