Celina Gray oversees the application of academic policies and procedures for the Wharton Undergraduate Division. Additionally, she advises a cohort of students and represents the division in university-wide initiatives on undergraduate education. Celina began her higher education career as a professor of classical archaeology. She is particularly drawn to the Paideia program because of her interdisciplinary training as a classicist, with research interests in the creation of identity and sense of belonging among non-citizens in ancient Athens. She earned her B.A. in Greek from Vassar College & her M.A. and Ph.D. in ancient history and Mediterranean archaeology from the University of California, Berkeley.
