Mya is from Lake Oswego, Oregon,. Mya’s focus is on research in university community engagement. She is a Silverman Fellow for the Netter Center where she works for various projects, she was a Netter Program for Public Service (PPPS) summer intern last summer. Mya is a Civic-Development Intern working on her program, and is also on the Netter Student Advisory Board. She is now working on independent research with Dr. Ira Harkavy on university community engagement. Finally Mya is the Spring Intern for community engagement firm Connect the Dots in Philadelphia.
